DustMate Electric Tool Kits

Electric Kits are designed for homes with extensive carpeting. Electric tool kits with a 4 wire hose use electricity to turn on the power unit and the electric brush from the switch in the hose handle. Cleaning of the carpets is greatly enhanced with the use of an electric brush because it uses electricity rather than airflow to rotate the turbine. A hose that has a 1-3/8" diameter orifice will have at least 20% greater cleaning performance than 1-1/4" hoses.

There are two options available when purchasing Electric Tool Kits -- Direct Plug-In and Pigtail.

Direct Plug-In - Electricity is built into the cuff allowing the hose to be directly plugged into the wall inlet with electrical contact made at the time of insertion. To be used with Electra-Valve style inlets.

Pigtail - 6 foot pigtail cord is attached to the end cuff of hose. The hose is plugged into any standard pinjack valve and the pigtail cord is plugged into a nearby 110 electrical outlet.

The 2 wire hose has a switch on the handle that controls the on/off of the electric brush only. When the hose is plugged into the wall, the vacuum suction comes on automatically.
