Electric Kits are designed for homes with extensive carpeting.  Electric tool kits with a 4 wire hose use electricity to turn on the power unit and the electric brush from the switch in the hose handle. Cleaning of the carpets is greatly enhanced with the use of an electric brush because it uses electricity rather than airflow to rotate the turbine.  A hose that has a 1-3/8" diameter orifice will have at least 20% greater cleaning performance than 1-1/4" hoses.

There are two options available when purchasing Electric Tool Kits -- Direct Plug-In and Pigtail.

Direct Connect - Electricity is built into the cuff allowing the hose to be directly plugged into the wall inlet with electrical contact made at the time of insertion. To be used with ElectraValve™

Pigtail - 6 foot pigtail cord is attached to the end cuff of hose. The hose is plugged into any standard pin jack style valves.

Pinjack -Controls the on/off of the vacuum with the
switch on the hose handle.

and the pigtail cord is plugged into a nearby 110 electrical outlet. 

  4- Wire Electric Tool Kits Available

The VSP comes with a 4-wire swivel handle, 1-3/8" crush-proof electric hose, Slim-fit style handle (SFH630) and the 14" Defender electric brush  (EB250NL). Direct Connect must be used with the ElectraValve™ style wall inlet. Pigtail may be used with pin jack style wall inlets and standard electrical outlet.

The WSP kit comes with a 30 foot 4-wire swivel electric hose and a 13" CleanSweep electric brush. It also includes a standard 12" floor tool and accessory pack. Direct Connect must be used with the ElectraValve™ style wall inlet. Pigtail may be used with pin jack style wall inlets and standard electrical outlet.

The EP-41 comes with a 1-3/8" 4-wire swivel electric hose, slim-fit style handle and a 14" beater bar electric brush. It also includes a standard 12" floor tool, a stair climber air turbine, and a 30 ft 1-1/4" silver crush proof hose. Direct Connect must be used with the ElectraValve™ style wall inlet. Pigtail may be used with pin jack style wall inlets and standard electrical outlet.

The TK-241 comes with a 4 wire 1-3/8" electric hose, slim-fit style handle and a 12" SuperGroom electric brush. It also includes a standard 12" floor tool, accessory tools and hose hanger. Direct Connect must be used with the ElectraValve™ style wall inlet. Pigtail may be used with pin jack style wall inlets and standard electrical outlet.
